Submissions

Author Guidelines

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope and compliance with ethical and formatting requirements. Suitable submissions are then evaluated through a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by independent reviewers.

Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system (OJS):
https://www.nbseh.org

Authors are required to submit:

• an anonymised manuscript prepared according to the NBSEH template;
• a separate Title Page (in Microsoft Word format) containing complete metadata (authors’ full names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, title, abstract, keywords, and references).

Graphical Abstract

NBSEH requires a Graphical Abstract accompanied by a concise explanatory text. This text must:

✅ Summarise the key message of your study in 2 to 3 sentences.
✅ Visually complement the Graphical Abstract without being redundant.
✅ Remain clear and accessible to a broad audience.
✅ Adhere to the required dimensions of the Graphical Abstract: (184x492 pixels) or (6.49x1`.34 cm)
